Fall Winter 2009
Let's talk high end sexy style. I'm Christine Ong for CASHAK.TV we hit the runways at L.A. Fashion Weekend with Fall 2009 collections of Raw7 and Postage. The collections actually debuted at the Copper Design Space in Los Angeles. Designers are all L.A. based. Featured designers include Raw7 with their rocker chic collection all using hand techniques and we also saw Postage which uses fabrics from the U.S., Europe and Japan. Everything is made in their L.A. factory and they're wanting to create affordable style and comfort. The styles are available at boutiques all throughout Southern California. You can actually go online to our shopping directory and find out where you can find these designers. Trends we see this season, we lots of rustic, grunge and layers. First up we have Postage bringing us this plaid trend which started last Fall and continues into this Fall. Three quarter sleeves, rolled cuff, button up front, single pocket, dark skinny fit jeans, tall dark brown lace heel up boots and accessorized with several ring necklaces and bangles. Next up Postage brings us this rustic color cowl neck knit sweater, stretch and hole details, short bodice length reveals undershirt, it's complimented with burnt umber jeans which are nice change from standard denim. The material has a slight metallic quality. The color and shine add to the rustic style of the look which is huge for Fall. It's topped with rounded toe heel booties. Lastly Postage brings us this look which starts with black patent leather pumps and goes on to ivory skinny fit jeans, long sleeve undershirt, dark button pocket short sleeve jacket over top, the short sleeves let the contrasting color of the undershirt show through. It's accessorized with a silver necklace and a plaid scarf. Next up Raw7 brings us this layered look it starts with two semi-transparent spaghetti strap camisole tops covered with a long plaid jacket and topped with a brown leather jacket, long corn silk color scarf, large stone and chain necklace, off the hip belt with a silver buckle, lace up peep-toe heels. Next up Raw7 brings us this long scoop neck dress, solid black, paired with a rustic brown leather jacket, full sleeves, leather has a rough texture on the shoulders to give a hard edge to the look, gold zipper and pocket button for the details. It's perfect for a night on the town. Raw7 brings us our last look flowing semi-transparent dress in an off white color, weave texture of thin strands, worn spots with slight tan color very bohemian, covered with a white and brown plaid jacket, darker rustic leather jacket on top of that, buckle cuffs on the sleeves, wide lapels extend to the end of the shoulder, medium brown scarf is threaded throughout the lapels, double strand tan and turquoise belt rides on the hips, completed with gold diamond shape earrings.
