Let's talk runway.
Carmen grew up in Westchester County just outside of NYC, his parents wanted him to be a plastic surgeon, instead he want on to become a luxury fashion designer best known for his evening wear, cocktail dresses and sunglasses. Trends in his latest collection include jewel accents and monochromatic color palettes. Let's hit the runway.
Sexy button-up, plunging v-neck blouse, sheer, unique button strap detail on the sleeves. Black jewel adorned high-waist skirt, notice how the jewels are aligned sequentially on the top and sides to create strong design lines, creped and sparking detail in the middle.
Wide-band stunner shades. Sleeveless dress completely covered in black jewels, like the skirt in the last look. Notice all the models are sporting black and bronze strappy platform sandals. We see this shoe a most of the runways this season. Before starting his own label Carmen worked for Nina Ricci and Christian Dior.
Chic, scoop neck halter. Accessorized with a large gold chain link necklace. Design continues to use jewels on the skirt in this look, though these are silver not black, it's mixed with bronze rings and studs, together they create a strong rustic look. We like all the jewel embellishments Do you think they are too much? Tell us in a comment.
Radiant, plunging v-neck with cap sleeves, pure white with clear jewels on top. This fashion show was broadcast live on the jumbo LED screens in Times Square.
Designer shows his flirty side, black booty shorts, stylish top with sequins draped across the front and sides. CASHAK editors' pick for the sexiest design of the collection, do you agree or disagree? Leave a comment and tell us.
Take the high-fashion of New York to the beach in this look. Solid black bandeau bikini, ruching on the top, chain neck strap detail. Matching brief bottoms with chain accents on the hip. Worn with a gun metal gray zip-up, cover-up. We'd skip wearing this cover-up, it's really drab.
Another beach look, perfect for the shores of Monaco, solid black monokini, ultra-low v-neck, cut high on the hips. Price ranges from $30 for a pair of bikini bottoms to $1000 for a red carpet gown.
Flashy single strap dress, antique silver color with a strong metallic finish, criss-crossing pleat details. Worn with a contemporary pair of black and silver shades, we love this accessory on this look. What do you think? Would you wear this one out to some elaborate Hollywood gala?
Floor length midnight black silk gown, creped toga shoulder, the jewel detailing continues on the waist to create a wide band the fits the dress. Carmen is known for his desire to bring quote: "glamorous dressing to every woman's life".
